Polecat
to me perfect, set your crossover form say 200 down to 70hz, and let em shine. Behind every great man....is an underwear tag!

Polecat, I am building a poor mans 3-way for my PT Cruiser with the Kicker 6.75 midbasses, Vifa midranges and probably my Hifonics tweeters. What is your thought on the 80-400hz range that kicker recommends in the manual for the SSMB6's??? What sound is between 200 hz and 400hz??? Why do some high end sets like Dynaudio have their 3-way midbasses running as high as 700hz?? I was planning on running mine 80-500 hz, is that too high??? A friend/pro installer recommends 280hz. SPL2K
I used the Kicker RMB 8's in my Eclipse and they sounded great! I ran them from 50hz - 150hz and then Resolution 5 1/4 components from 150hz up. (3 L7 10's at 50 down) Michael Hughes = 6X SPL World Champion - Loudest on the planet in db Drag, USACi, and IASCA.
