But I would like the fully active built in crossover so I can run some tweets!If I ever wanted to do any of that stuff i would buy a separate sound processor or something down the road. Your crossover/processor networks should be totally separate from your amplification network. Makes everything simple yet MUCH easier to manipulate and control. Amplifiers should do only one thing ... Amplify signal. As far as multi channel amplifiers go ... More networks in an amplifier, the more chances for failure. Which is why I use separate 2 channel amplifiers for my applications. Also, you have much better power supply headroom with multi 2 channel amplifiers verses a single power supply network for all six channels of amplification. Cost more ?? Absolutely. But the power and control of your system is MUCH more rewarding !!!! But then again, this is all my suggestions based on my years of sound quality competition. Best of luck with your system brother Thanks for the info! That's awesome that you compete in sound quality competition! I know a lot of people generally consider the the JL W7, the JBL MKII. IDMax and even the Fi Q to be sound quality, but what brands of subs do people actually use in real sound quality setups? I am not asking your preference or opinion, just an idea what is commonly used.
