crispy fried amps

So I have this planet audio 5k (I put it on a dyno and it made around 1700's mark @ 1ohm @ 13.8 volts so...) anyway, I recently received a 4 gauge amp kit from nvx and once finished installing the amp kit I wired up the amp itself, as soon as turned the ignition switch one flick to the right. My amp turned on for about literally 1 second and it shut off and I can hear the guts of the amp going into a deep fryer like when you put chicken with flour onto the frying pan so I then immediately shut the car off. I don't know if I'm sending to much power to the amp or... my ground is rock solid sitting on bare metal I already blew a 100a fuse so I ended up putting a 200a fuse so I don't know what the problem is any help??

Can't "send" too much power to an amp. It will take what it needs.

Either a short in the speaker wires or a problem inside the amp. If it was right at turn on and before signal was even trying to be amplified it was likely internal. Something may have happened during the dyno run. Sorry to hear man.

Static drops are my bag.

If the RCA's weren't connected then it wouldn't be a short in the speaker wires bc of no signal input. Sounds like internal issue. Was it an amp you just had laying around?

You didnt put the power into the ground input and ground into the power input did you? Ive seen that happen too many times.
