noobslayer77 Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 gonna be pickin up a 2500 soon, but in the mean time i was planning on running some extra wires so its all ready when i get it. currently i have 1 run of 1/0 and a run of 4 gauge from front batt (d3400) to back batt (xp3000). I was going to take out the 4 gauge and do 2 more runs of 1/0, so 3 total to the back batt. then i was plannin on runnin 2 runs of 1/0 to the 2500 and a 4 gauge to the 4 channel. i'm not sure if dual 1/0 to 1/0 reducers will fit the 2500, if they don't i obviously gotta go with just 1 run to the 2500. will i be ok with just 1 run to the 2500? got a 250 amp alt that does poop at idle but decent with some rpm, and i don't usually bang my shit when im not drivin 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited 2 13w7s skar 3500 cnf mids (soon) xs batteries
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 1 run to the 2500 is fine, a short run of 1/0 can carry way more current than that amp will ask for. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
