Anyway I ended up losing a woofer at a show and there was aLONG wait for recones. Basically got frustrated and parked the truck. Bought a 2009 saturn aura for a Daily..and a couple months later parted out truck audio and sold truck. Well had the saturn for about a year and a half and it started having issues so I punted it. Got this 2014 ford fusion SE. Of course it went straight to the tint shop, 5% on all windows,50% on whole windshield,and 5% strip on top of windshield. Also had 8k hids put in fogs and 6k in low beams. BASS14 Posted February 5, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 Now for audio not planning on anything crazy, I wired up the car with all Memphis 4ga and rcas...ordered 4 of the sundown audio e8v3s and a hifonics Brutus elite 1200.1 those showed up last Saturday I got 40sqft of damplifier pro on the way, along with a shit load of sky-high primary wire to wire up the 2 volt meters. As far as box goes gona start out with a ported box facing forward. Not sealing anything off. But also gona build a 4th order to play with to. Started on the box today I don't take alot of build pics lol cuz I get in the zone and just go lol. The baffles are gona be getting cut on the cnc machine next week to ensure the sub holes and port tube us exactly where I want tthem... not a whole lot of room on baffle. But I assembled the sides and back and then resin and matted the seams. Will keep this updated as It goes forsure. Waiting till it gets nice to put the 20s on lol its currently -6 outside and snowy lol. Interested to see what you come up with. Love the new body Fusions much more than the original. Even though I'm not a fan of Ford pilfering the Aston grille shape. Great car either way. Will be watching. Thanks! Keeping the factory head unit and all that just put in a line out converter to add the amps. I also plan on swapping all the factory speakers with new Memphis pr 6.5s and tweets. The car has a 6.5 and a tweet per door. So 2 6.5 comp sets.
