What size dies are y'all using for shca 1/0? I used the 70, but I don't really like the fins that it makes on the lug, would the 95 be too large?

I hope 70 is large enough, thats the biggest the kit I got comes with

-If its loud, fast, outrageous, or all of the above, chances are i'll think its awesome.

Oh yeah it's big enough, I was just wondering if you could crimp with a 90 and it still be tight enough to hold well

I explained how to get rid of the fins.

You use 2 different size dies, and rotate the lug and do it about 4 times with each die. Crimp the entire length of the lug that hold wire, so you have to crimp it twice with each die anyways, and when you rotate it to get rid of the fins thats another 2 crimps with each.

Mine have fins.....does it matter or is that more just for looks?

Leaving the fins leaves a sharp edge, they're unsightly even under heat shrink. Yeah, you could snip em off with a pair of dikes or with a little more work you can compress all of the copper together maintaining maximum conductivity. Same idea as losing strands of wire when you make your cuts.

So which two dies do you use?
