CleanSierra
Are you tuning the box to the resonant frequency of the vehicle? There's a start. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
BigManAC
Rounding a port has its advantages. Rounding internal corners INSIDE the box is pretty useless is most cases. When you say rounding the port do you mean leading to the outside? 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
BigManAC
Double post: I can do a 144 but ive seen several people hit around a 46-48. Id be happy anywhere in between. I found the res fq of my car with a 8'' sub in a sealed box and its 37hz. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
CleanSierra
I mean the port opening on the inside of the box(if it's a slot port). That's why aero ports are flared, it improves the efficiency of the vent GREATLY. You have both ends of your port rounded off if you care to get the most efficiency out of it as you can. BigManAC
Fi recommends 12-16 so I planned on the 16 side and a small box at 3.5cuft. This is what I have so far. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
