BigManAC
your resonant frequency will change depending on equipment as well. bigger box takes up more space, ect... Its sealed off and the front of both boxes will be in the exact same position so it shouldnt change. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
CleanSierra
When dealing with a strictly burp box, you can and a lot of times will, go outside of manufacturer recommendations. The recommendation that Fi is giving is got a box that plays music. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

mrd6
^No one is going to be able to tell you. You need to build and test. Without getting into the whole sqin of port per cube thing, 16 per is a good middle of the road starting point to get a base line. Next you could try 18, if you gain keep raising port area until you stop gaining. The scientific method is your friend here haha My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL

CleanSierra
I agree with mrd6, no one can tell you. Building and testing I'd the only way to find out. Start with a certain port, then try a different. Build a box with the ability to do a removable port, that might be worth trying rather than doing a slot port Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
