Ease off the guy about what he paid to have it detailed. He took it to a really high end shop that does detail work on show cars. If that is where he wanted to go, then so be it. Besides, it is his cash- let him spend it the way he wants to. I wash my own cars but I think it is insane that some people pay what they do on power wire. I don't make fun of you because I buy welding cable. Does it do the same job- yes. Is it as good- no. The difference between good and great is that little bit, and that is what he paid for and got. :clapping:

About your question... it has been answered in some of the above posts. Use a cleaner for removing goo or stickers and then get some factory color matched touch-up paint at Autozone or where have you. They should both be down the same isle.

Do like everyone else is saying and just put new emblem letters on.

If you want, go a head and find an extra "S" and do this,

no, im talking months. ive seen that pic before.

I'd have to say I'm sorry but I doubt it was THIS picture, I took this picture last sunday morning somewhere between San Antonio and San Marcos TX.

You sure it wasn't someone else who possibly saw this guy and took a pic? Maybe even this guy I saw copied someone else who had it before.

Either way this was the first time I've ever seen anyone do this and I had to take a picture.

Maybe you saw it also when I posted it in the random image thread a while back? http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...0&start=840

My bad for getting off topic in the thread, back to seeing if he got the paint fixed on the back... :good:
