Guest Brett32324
im guna be building a box for Four 12"s. it will be in a Grand Marqui (probably in the back seat but maybe in the trunk). the box is for two P2's and prolly 2 Infinitys. Grtrat1
Shouldnt you NOT mix and match subs?
ChevyBoy
you can. not recommended though. if u do, give them all their own chamber to work with.
audiobass10
Whatever you do..DON'T mix and match subs. Terrible idea..looks so ghetto too lol.
ChevyBoy
actually it didnt look ghetto in my truck. 4 were downfiring and the other 4 were on the back seat.

Well....that's preference. As far as performance goes...it's never a good idea.

Forevrbumpn
definitly a bad idea. But YOU can do it this way..... 2- tuned at 30hz and the other 2 tuned to 60hz, and use a common 45hz gain/boost and they should work together as a dual tuned band pass box- but definitly, they should Not play the same freq, 2 different subs work differently, move easier, or stiffer than the other, and will end up canceling eachother out at different freqs But I assume 2- of one brand tuned at 60hz, the other 2 -30hz, should be okay sounding Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
