1 BTL 18 run from a hifonics BXi 2608D rated at 2600 watts rms at 1 ohm. Does this sound reasonable, how big of and alt, and how many extra batteries do or should i need?

Any help would be awesome, thanks guys.

a nice high output alternator whatever your funds can get would be helpful make sure you have some batts in the back maybe a hc2400 and 1/0 wire you should be set. you dont need anything insane for that hifonics amp but better to be safe than sorry.

A D2400 or larger in the trunk and a 200 amp alternator with good idle output. Let me know if you would like a price quote on the battery and alternator.

So a 200 amp alt would be sufficient for 2600 (rated) watts?

Also would I need extra bnatteries?

Alright thanks. Yellow tops good enough?

There OK for what your running but they don’t have the reserve capacity a Kinetik or Power Master would have.
