Hotdog
Hate to bump an old thread but I did not notice the mention of Dynamic range. Me being 46, can tell you that the music we are listening to today does not have the dynamic range it use to. I think that when some people are looking for SQ they really want depth. Then others are looking for both. Stop buying digitally remastered cd's and get the originals as all the dynamic range has been stripped out of the new remastered stuff and in place added more loudness. I posted a thread on Dynamic range a while ago located here --> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193268-dynamic-range-database/?hl=%20dynamic%20%20range Bottom line you can buy the most expensive SQ deck there is but still be missing out because of your choice of media.
