kmb504 Posted February 18, 2015 Report Share Posted February 18, 2015 Ive got one american bass vfl 8 400rms (underarted) 800max I plan on getting another one day . im rsally just looking for an amp that I can use for one, and both sub is dvc 4ohm. im keepimg my stock headunit. (2014 malibu) So im looking for an amp that has the high level inputs. I hope to run around 600watts per sub. ive found a few amps that sayther are 800rms@2ohms 1600rms@1ohm but I know not all amps push what they are rated. So can anyone help? MrSkippyJ Posted February 18, 2015 Report Share Posted February 18, 2015 just look for one that does 1200@1ohm. no need to worry about the 2ohm rating unless you are going for a RF constant power type thing. any quality 1200 watt amp will work fine though, or even a good 1k watt amp. stick to the known brands though, avoid the cheap crap.
