need help deciding on an amp.

Ive got one american bass vfl 8 400rms (underarted) 800max

I plan on getting another one day .

im rsally just looking for an amp that I can use for one, and both

sub is dvc 4ohm.

im keepimg my stock headunit. (2014 malibu)

So im looking for an amp that has the high level inputs.

I hope to run around 600watts per sub.

ive found a few amps that sayther are 800rms@2ohms 1600rms@1ohm

but I know not all amps push what they are rated.

So can anyone help?

pretty sure 800wrms will be a bit too much, i'd prob be looking at amps that do more like 600wrms at 2ohm and 1200wrms at 1 ohm.

Yea I said I was going to run them at around 600rms

but like I said, ive heard most amps are overrated.

Thats why im here looking for someone to help me find an amp. One thats around 600rms @2ohms 1200@1 ohm

just look for one that does 1200@1ohm. no need to worry about the 2ohm rating unless you are going for a RF constant power type thing.

any quality 1200 watt amp will work fine though, or even a good 1k watt amp.

stick to the known brands though, avoid the cheap crap.
