audiofanaticz Posted March 16, 2015 Report Share Posted March 16, 2015 Dont know about the tint shops around you, but the majority of the ones that do just tinting will rather remove the tint and have a clean window to their standards for free rather than charging for it and possibly having the customer do it himself because chances are they will still need to finish the job of removing glue or getting the window clean to their standards.For all I know it may not be something included in "economy" tint jobs. Honestly, that was the first time I heard of using a heat gun for removing tint, apparently it did not work so well because they still said to keep the bottom of the tint attached so you can razor blade the glue off.
