So what's the problem with PB Alts? I've heard from others on other forums that they're good and had no issues with them after a couple years. Then others say they're shit and whatever. But I want to know why people say they're shit?

Basically I am asking what is the fault in PB Alts?

I've never seen one good review from someone who actually isn't a needer. Many people have a hard time saying hey screwed up so they talk about how the one they got it so much better than the ones everyone else got. No they just have issues saying it is what it is. Since you're dead set on it and evidently don't want to take in what you've been told or read. Enjoy that alt

Never confirmed that I'm going to use this alternator but I'm almost left with the option of having too. I've had it for two days and haven't opened yet as I'm still decisive if I want to install or not. I'm only going to be running an AQ2200 so I would assume this alternator would be fine. I was just curious what the fault PB had as everyone on this forums that has a negative response about the product.

I appreciate the help though.

the problem will be that at idle the alt will shutoff and you will see battery resting voltage. then when you move the alt will turn on and with a spike voltage that can fry your ecm

if its doesnt have the issue of turning off you will see shit for output at idle.. if you like to sit at red lights at 1800 rpm then it might work for you but gas will be a killer

I've decided I'm going to ship back and go with DC Power when I get the money for it. Made a final decision due to way too many bad reviews as well as I may have to make modifications to my vehicle for it as I just realized it's a fitzall (I should pay attention >.>).
