First official competetion coming up, need tips.

Im just about to register for slamology. The vehicle is almost all done, so its that time. I have a few questions though id like to get some input on from people who already have a few competetions under their belts.

First off, is it an all weekend thing or is the bass part of the show just a certain time/certain day?

When you register, do you get your own spot that you are required to go, or is it just a first come first serve kind of thing?

Are there different classes to sign up for, or does everyone get judged on the same level?

Lastly, when youre actually testing do you use music for the test or eo you use a hz sweep or how exactly does that work?

Ive read a lot on the procedure, but i wanted to get some advice from you guys bc i know that anything that gets posted that is not correct, it will be caught quickly. My goal is to go up there and not feel like a total noobie just constantly looking for the nearest person to ask questions. Thanks in advance for any help guys.

I don't claim to know how to solve anything, I just practice the basics. There is nothing worse than wasting hours over a problem that should have taken 5 mins. Anything I post and claim to know, I know simply because of a lesson learned from a mistake on my part.

I may have posted this to the wrong section. I was using the mobile website version and its a lot harder to use, i think. If i need to repost to the correct category, i can do that.

First off slamology is an awesome show. When you register. .. you can compete in any organization. This year will be the first for MECA so not sure how that will be ran. For Db Drag and IASCA Saturday is qualifying and Sunday is finals. Depending on what you compete in some classes are burps and some are music.

Show up early, and ask. The people there are into the same shit you are. 99% are cool as fuck.

Look like a noob. No one cares.

(If they do, fuck them)

Above all. Learn, and most important, have fun.

This. My first audio show was a TDH one. At the time, i didnt even have my license bc of my age.. let alone a car. The guys gave NO fucks though.. I had an absolute blast!

Nope when you register. ..you are registered for them all. Only have to go to each orgs area to get classed. You can compete in 1, 2 or all 3 for the same price. Thats why this show is a big drawl for competitors.
