Best head unit for 175

Get the clarion.

If you order it from Crutchfield you'll get the dash kit and wiring harness free too.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Bought the Clarion, went threw Amazon since they had my bracket I was looking for. Even though the bracket probably won't work I'll just make another one out of wood. Problems of owning a Lesabre

Another option is this

I would go with the Clarion over this but it is another option

I would too, and I did

Confusing at first. I had a CZ501, actually 2 of them. Since I got to know the 501 VERY well, the 702 isn't that hard to get to know. Reading the manual will help you out a TON.

my 501 epically defecated on the Pioneer avh-p4400bh double din I had. the 702 is lightyears more advanced than the 501.

major improvement even with stock speakers. Should have my 2 way active setup with sundown comps in here in a few weeks. Eventually 3 way active, but I'll lack a substage for abit...

All settings flat too, really brightened up my soundstage. Don't wanna waste time tuning it for stock speakers though.

I have a good friend, with one in a RCSB blowthrough chevy that does a 156.7 or so, that has issues with the head unit's internal amp shutting off around 50hz above 150 db lol.
