feathered1iron
I did some research and some say they will rub some say they will not depending on the offset. Going with 26" U255s (I know I know). Going to run the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Assimetrico's. U2 55's offset 6x139.7 Either 305/25/26 or 305/30/26. Which of these tires would not rub with this wheel/tire combo? If I needed to modify wheel wells what would I need to modify? Trying to pull the trigger on these soon guys so this would be a huge help!!! Thanks!! Rodlow1
Your going to have to trim the inner plastic a little. 151.0 Sealed http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196628-2007-escalade-build-my-first-install/
Ahmed Johnson
I don't know, my buddy has a Tahoe on 6" s and he didn't trim shit. The escalade got trimmed but it was for some 28" s.
Rodlow1
Was it the 4x4 or 2 wheel drive? now if you match the offset of the wheel and truck perfectly plus 4 wheel drive I believe you will not have to cut anything. But if you sit low there going to be a problem turning. I got 28's on my 07 Escalade and I trim alot of the plastic but it still rubs. Especially when backing up turning. Also my boss have a 05 Silverado on 305/30/26 and he had to remove windshield fluid container But both of our trucks are 2 wheel drive and sit low. 151.0 Sealed http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196628-2007-escalade-build-my-first-install/
Andy_swiftcc
I had the 305/30/26 tire series on my otherset of Rims and bought 295/30/26 tires with my new set of rims. I'm happier with the 295s but that's just me
standardcabspl
I run a 305 30 26 little trimming of the plastics and your done, I rub at full lock on the sway bar, but the thicker tire is worth the ride and protection of the rim on these shitty roads around me and where I work around New Orleans Good lord sweet baby Jesus. DavidClark
I have 26" U255b's 305/30/26 on a 2004 Yukon 2wd W tortion bars. When I turn all the way either direction and go up an incline the rear outside of either wheel rubs a little on the rear of the front fender liner. On the rear I had to trim about an inch from the rear of the fender liner at the rear of the tire on the inside. Neither front or back was rubbing bad at all.
