I'm curious as to how much current the regulators require in order to excite, since the 80PRS only has like 300mA of output I think? Did you have the remote wire going to a relay then the alts, or just straight to the alts? Do you know if it was due to over current? Sorry, not sure how much info you received as to why they burned up, and I'm rather curious about it.
