KMS Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 Looking to build an enclosure that's 1.75 cubes at 26hz for the flattest response. I don't have the vehicle for measurements at the moment buy IIRC, I'd like to go 14.5 width, 13.5 height with a double baffle, and can't remember the length but at 1.75 cubes the length came near the rear of the hatch if I did my calculations correctly but can't remember. Joe X Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 If you want really near flat inside a vehicle sealed is what you should do. The above plot doesn't account for cabin effects, if you want it like that regardless, you should measure better and state what vehicle is it.

Triticum Agricolam Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 If you want to ROUGHLY approximate what cabin gain will do you can add a filter like this to WinISD: Like I said, its a rough approximation and your real world results will mostly likely be a bit different, but it will at least give you an idea. Joe X Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Would add that at least f0 would change depending on the vehicle to improve a little the accuracy of the predicition.
