That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Joe X Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 welp originally it was suppose to be 29hz and 6.1cubic feet some how and way it came out to be 7.4 cubic feet tuned to 24-25hz... let me atleast say this i only spent about 50 bucks for wood and parts so i really dont care if it doesnt work and need to re build i am fine with that because now i do not have back seats lol! i used 12volt to calculate the tuning and also WINisd but im pretty sure all in all my box building skill suck port is 3inches wide and 18 inches long with 5 inches left before i touch the back of the box. is this enough port surface? but my question is. will my MTX 9500's 12's blow from using this huge box im using a audiopipe 1500.1 so each speakers sees a little over 750rms. If you already acknowledge you missed the spec and you are fine with rebuilding just go ahead.
