connecting amps to subs

hey , ???? i have 2 rocford fosgate prime 1200 D amps.that i wish to connect to my 2 soundqubed HDS312 2ohm sub.whats the best way to connect them , would u connect both amps together and let them play the subs from one terminal ,, or you connect one sub to one amp individually ,,,, could i get a diagram or the info on how to make the connections thanks,

I use this site all the time and this site will give you some numbers as will make sure you have a multimeter to check

since this amps are non stripable you will have to run rca cable to one and link it to output and run another rca to the input to the headunit

just wire 1 sub to the amp and the other one to the next amp

ok thanks for that info i see some sites giving instruction , but i just want to make sure i get it the correct way and the most reliable and safe way so i welcome all the suggestions

I don't think you can strap those amps so 1 to each sub with each sub wired in parallel for a 1 ohm final impedance on each amp.

and dont forget to gain match so theres equal output to each sub....
