BigManAC
Hey guys, before I get to building this box I just want to run it by a few of you on here. The subs will be powered by a Nendo S1500.1. Anything that needs to be changed or is all good? Thanks for your time. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
brent379
port is too small. shoot for 14 square inches of port per cube with a slot port, and 3 cubes net. very GENERAL rule of thumb for porting: slot port: 12-16 sq in per cube aero port: 9-12 sq in per cube. don't always go by that, but it is a good starting point. Triticum Agricolam
To keep port velocity reasonable, I would shoot for 50 sq in of port area. I came to this number based on your box volume, tuning, cone area, and amount of power you are going to run.
