Can I Get A .5ohm?

I have 4 subs they are dual 4s. I have been told i can get a .5ohm load out of them, is that true? or is 2ohm as low as i can go?

you can, all coils in parallel.

Yes you just have to wire them all in parallel, which pretty much means you wire all the +'s together and and then all the -'s together and you got .5 ohms

the RF site doesnt show that kind of wiring lol. I have been looking for amps and seems liek the sundown 1500 will play daily on .5

I have 4 kicker cvr 15s in a ported wall, im dying to have bass and there arent many amps to choose from that play at 2ohms and i dont wanna waste money on a 1ohm. So all the +s wired together and all the -s together come to a .5 load huh

stock alt which is like 70amp soon to be a delphi 220. I have a 1600kinetik already and will add another 1600 before i would even attempt to play down to .5ohms lol. so just stock alt and a kinetik 1600, all knu 0ga big 3 done

Yep. You had to go in there to the wiring wizard and look up parallel wiring. Their current amps are not recommended to go below 1ohm I guess that's the reason it didn't show up.
