Number of common port walls clarification

Alright guys, hows life, awesome anyway i have to get something clarified and worked out here sooner or later or i am going to go insane.

I've been building boxes for quiet some time now, using torres of course, and i haven't paid much attention to number of common port walls, ive always put a 3 in there not really caring.. I've seen the entire thread on common port walls. and my dumb self is still confused.. So i made a little diagram in paint that took me a whole 10 minutes to make. Please, if you can.... Please reply with the diagram number followed by the correct number to place into torres. thank you

for those reading this post after my post PLEASE correct me if im wrong... but i dont think the # of common walls is as important as the port length. if your port needs to be 30" long and it requires 3 walls to make that length, then 3 walls is the best. if its only 9" long and you need 1 port wall, then thats the best....

first figure out you port area per ft^3 net volume... then use that to calculate length for your desired tuning.

then figure out the total volume of your port, internal box ft^3 and displacement of your port walls, bracing (if any) and sub. add all of that up for a master volume of your box.

then use your max dimensions to figure out your box size and shape...

EDIT: i have heard that the more bends you have in a port, the worst off your going to be...

All of those diagrams have 3 common walls.

To clarify it means how many walls does the port share in common with the rest of the enclosure and in all those designs it shares the right, top, and bottom.

I've never fully understood this either, so correct me if I'm wrong now. But the second picture looks like it also shares the back(4 walls) and the third adds in the left side (5walls).
