I have (1) X12 sub running on a 2416.1D Hifonis amp at 2 ohms. in a prefab vented 2.6 cubic feet box, sounds alright but, the box isn't very good and I'm sure a custom box would sound much better. Joe X Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 You can try to increase the port length to lower tuning, if you could measure the port width and depth it would be easy to see what's the tuning, Sundown tunes to 32Hz.

Joe X Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 With an X15v2 in (0.23 displacement) it comes to ~2.3 net @~49.8 Hz with ~ 43 square inches of port area. Well not many lows from that.
