SacredEmbers Posted July 27, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 27, 2015 This thing playing yet? been over a month, lmao Was built with a center port tuned to 32hz. before fiberglass I decided to test the tuning, and I wasn't very happy with it. Also I was having some odd phase issues due to the odd shape. I would have to wire one side of the wall out of phase for it to sound halfway decent and even then only 29hz and up would sound in phase. So we metered it just to see what it would do, and it did a 155.8 at 39hz outlaw. Ripped it down to the shell again, and now I'm doing a top port with 3 layers of fiberglass all round. New plan: 25.6 cubes gross 18.5 cubes net 280in^2 of port Tuned to ~30hz 4 layer 3/4in front baffle 18.5cubicft wall tuned to 30hz with 280sqinches of port (rebuilding wall atm) 4 Fi SP4 15s (dual 2ohm, cooling, carbon caps) 2 Crescendo 3500s @.5 (soon to be 2 Crescendo 12ks) 1 Pioneer 99-prs 1 Zed Leviathan III 4 Sundown Neo Pro v2 10s (4ohm) 4 Morel 378 (8ohm) 4 Diehard Platinum PM1 1 Diehard Advanced Gold 94r (Adding a Juicebox 30kw) 2 Singer 340amp Alternator Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Buying a transpo voltage regulator because the XS power VCMs are terrible and has caused nothing but issues. adding another run of positive and negative when i get the singer 340 back in. Also the wall is getting rebuilt into a center port with low tuning, maybe 28z? not sure yet, but Ill keep rebuilding until its where I want it. Singer shipped me 240amp and a 370 amp alternators, and a Transpo regulator. I received some stinger crossflow fans, a third 3500, and the dual alt kit. The wall will be playing by next sunday. New specs are ~32 cubes gross, ~20 net, 36.75in port, ~27.7hz, 280^2in of port.
