SIDE SHOW Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 I had my dd9510g on a kx1200.1 at 1 ohm (about 850rms) and it was decent enough for me at the time.
Jason Grange Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Hey all, I'm the guy that Vapor-Mania mentioned metering at a 141.3. The car is an '03 Cavy 4dr LS. When I metered, the trunk and deck lid was completely sealed off from the cabin and the box fired into the cabin; however, in the interest for the pursuit for better numbers, I changed the placement of the slot ported sub box (3.11 c.f. tuned to 37 Hz measuring 36" x 16.25" x 15" and housing 2 Soundqubed HDC3 10s (2ohm) and broke the seal by pushing the box completely to the rear of the trunk (still firing forward). The trunk and spare tire well is completely cleared (except for a second AGM 2400 watt audio battery and the amp (Taramps HD3000... 2ohm version) and all surfaces are sound deadened. I plan on metering as soon as possible before firing the box to the rear for a final meter before putting the box in the final resting position that delivers the highest numbers. Visit my YouTube Channel for vids on the progress of the system over the past 2 years by searching for JasonGrange1 on YouTube. If you have any ideas... feel free to comment.
