Csprak1990
Sold my old amp to my cuzzo. (Brz2100.1d) Seen some comparisons between the aq2200 and brz2400 and would figure as much that my power would be alright. But wanted to be sure before buying. Car is 2000 Accord sedan, Stock alt (70-90ish amps, not sure), 600CA starting battery, Kinetik 2k rear battery, big 3 all 0 gauge runs. Amps im looking at are bc2000d, sq2200.1d. Daily driver. Too broke for alternator right now. LIFE!! Need amp now!! NEED BASS!! Can I get by on random full tilts to and from work (10-15 mins commute) ctek to keep batt fresh. Won't be able to get alt till tax time to be realistic.
_paralyzed_
You're right on the edge of not having enough. The only way you'll know is to get a voltmeter and watch your voltage.
Csprak1990
So getting another batt won't do shit for me right? Since I'll generally be playing music driving?
MrSkippyJ
it could help but you need to find a way to charge the extra batteries. i don't know what ctek is, but you said that will keep them fresh. so that could be your way of charging them. Csprak1990
Will a lil plug into outlet volt meter be good enough to check voltage? Got dem hoez for like 6-7 bucks on ebay.
_paralyzed_
Those are better than nothing, but aren't precise. It would b enough to see if your voltage is getting run down as you play.
Csprak1990
Well I've seen other volt meters with just plain neg/pos wire from pics like the ones from stinger, but where do I run those wires too?
