tboorn
This is where I get all of my techflex from. It's plastic vs Skullz braided nylon. I've never had a problem with any of it. http://stores.ebay.com/FURRYLETTERS?_rdc=1 yeah I've purchased from them many times, its always super fast and perfect. and i use .5" for sky high 2/0 and it fits easily in my experience Fidelity Built to Last Team Sound Asleep 24Runner Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196657-24runner-sleeper-system-lots-of-fi-neo-dd-focal-new-video-w-juicebox-lithium/ 2 x 12" Fi BTL N2 / 2 x 12" Fi BTL N3 2 DD M3b Maxwell 2.7V 3000F Supercapacitors Pioneer DEH-80prs Focal P165 V30 components Rockford Fosgate T-400.
JakeMN
What type of tech flex are you guys using? The F6, I see the continuous temp is only 276 degrees for that. Can that withstand the temperature inside an engine bay especially if I'll have wire an inch or two away from the manifold? Bass head in training. Trying to learn everything I can. 2014 Dodge Dart GT Synergy Audio WFO 15.1 V2 (Prototype) Sundown X12
tboorn
im using the regular techflex, this one to be exact http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2-EXPANDABLE-SLEEVING-SUPER-HERO-TECHFLEX-25ft-/360377428265?vxp=mtr&hash=item53e82b2929 it has been working well under the hood and everywhere else, i have runs coming off my alterator and all up under the hood with no problems yet. the jumper is SkyHigh 2/0 and i got it on with the lugs already crimped pretty easily, it still has some room to wiggle, the other wire is just regular 0 gauge and you can tell it has a good amount of wiggle room with the .5" Fidelity Built to Last Team Sound Asleep 24Runner Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196657-24runner-sleeper-system-lots-of-fi-neo-dd-focal-new-video-w-juicebox-lithium/ 2 x 12" Fi BTL N2 / 2 x 12" Fi BTL N3 2 DD M3b Maxwell 2.7V 3000F Supercapacitors Pioneer DEH-80prs Focal P165 V30 components Rockford Fosgate T-400.

CarAudioFab
Keep in mind if you use a diameter of techflex smaller than the wire you are covering it shortens the length of the techflex. In other words don't cut 20' for your 20' cable and expect it to completely cover, I put all the flex on first, cut it and then cover the leftover exposed area with heat shrink. (Usually only half inch or so at each end at most) -Mark Host of "CarAudioFabrication" - YouTube Car Audio Tutorial Channel Check out my forum section here on SMD for my builds and tutorial videos!
