tiny alternator need more power or better planning?

If there is nothing wrong with his current under hood battery wouldn't it make sense to just add another battery now then upgrade his under hood battery later? This way he has 2 batts instead of just one and can get the most out of what he has...

Pioneer DEH-8400BH

4 Alpine Type R 6.5's

4 Soundqubed PA 6.5's

4 Soundqubed Supertweets

Hifonics BRX 640.4

Crescendo S800/4

2 Soundqubed Q1-3500.1s strapped @1ohm

2 Soundqubed HDC4 18's

11 Cubes net @37hz (Subs up, port back)

2 DC Power 250 HD's

1 DC Power 300 SPX

DC Power triple alt bracket

5 Kinetik HC 1800's

4 runs of 1/0 OFC power cables

4 runs of 1/0 OFC grounds from rear battery bank to OEM alt bracket

iPad Air in dash

300+ sq ft or sound deadening

It's not mandatory, but it's safer. It's personal preference to me. I feel it's too short of a run to fuse, others don't. You can do your ground either way. It won't make much difference for your power. There's a video d'amore did about it. For larger power (3k+ I believe) it was better with a front to rear ground.

I will just say this. All of my vehicles have had fuses from the factory between the alt and battery. Also, Tony C (Snafu) says to fuse the charge wire. What he says is pretty much right when it comes to 12v electronics.

Hey I would like to thank everyone who has replied kindly and with information. I am a member on another forum and all I got from all but 1 member was smart ass replies. Thanks all. I'll order my wire asap then the battery. Since its short runs will cca be OK or should I spring for the matching kolossus fleks that is all my other wiring
