gsean430
I have a 4 door car... Lexus gs430,my sub is wayyyyy loud when the sub is facing the trunk.. And litteraly like 2 inches away from touching it. I have tried many many different ways, positions and all that stuff. I even cut a 12 inch hole in my decklid and when sealed the only benifit i had is was trunk rattle.. And i couldnt hear the bass with my windows down.. The problem i am having is, i dont like having my sub box right against my trunk.. Cause its hard to put stuff in there and i would rather have it up against my back seat... What do i do? I dont want my sh1T looking tacky and just being in the way but its only way i can get loud clear bass even with the windows down. I would perfer it in my decklid, but is the problem that when my windows are down that the bass is too open cause its near the window? Im starting over my whole trunk build and need ideas
Triticum Agricolam
Fire your subs forward and seal off from the trunk is going to be your best option. Shdwblazer
does your rear seats lay down? Could do a "trunk wall" (sub/port facing foward) sealing off trunk from cabin if seats fold down or there is the 4th order with the port through the rear deck. gsean430
My seats dont fold down.. And i was thinking of 4th order but if i cant hear the bass through the decklid when the sub is sealed to it wouldnt it not work 4th order either
