Got some new hydraulic crimpers today. I lost the old ones in the move to the new house. These do a nice job though.

I like em so far, i didnt want to mess with glassing up tweeter pods since this build is mostly stuff i have laying around. So coax's it is.

So, im liking the way this system sounds. Only drawback is some kick drum notes sound "ploppy", thnk of giving a mid too much bass and the coil jumps the gap and the drum notes goes from a tight bump to a plop sound.

Anyway, They do it even not at high volume. Not sure if its the recordings or if its the subs. I know they dont have much XMax but seems like they do it more than they should and regular bass notes like longer notes sound fine.

Anyone got any ideas whats going on?
