Double up on the same grounds or run new ones?

Sorry. Couldn't detect your sarcasm. But agreed, you should replace the stock grounds, even if they were corroded they should have only been cleaned and reinstalled, not removed. Don't know why, but removing stock grounds has a habit of causing issues even if it was replaced with a better one.

The other day i put the stock grounds back to 4 gauge and rerouted the 1/0. As for the original, they gone. The 1 was too fuct up and the other I cut and used as a jumper after i blew the main battery fuse to get my windows back up cause it was after hours to run to pepboys and it was calling for rain.

But now when the voltage drops as I'm driving, say down to 12.3, I can hit the power windows and it will shoot the voltage back up to 14.1.

Same thing if I'm cruising along at 35 mph, voltage drops into the twelves , I can slide the car into neutral and it climbs right back up to 14. Crazy symptoms

Lol, I stuck the ratchet down in the engine the double check the positive on the alternator and accidentally hit the exhaust manifold. This is after hours of taking a negative on and off the battery, jumping in and out of the car, sweating my ass off. Just wasn't focused at the time,it was getting dark and I made a rookie mistake.

Now I'm thinking I need a new eld not a bypass. Cuz it was never like this before and it started with the Stock alternator and then followed in to see mechman alternator.

That bypass is out of my league like I said bebefore. I've never prayed for a check engine light before in my life untill now.

A new eld with the fuse box is $200. 300 to 400 installed I'm sure. Thats the Avenue I'm leaning towards at this point. But the thing that gets me second guessing, is on a Acura forum I've read so many threads where people had the same symptoms but had bad relays or air buildup in the radiator, it could be so many different types of things. Just need to save up more money. Missed a week of work over this car. The new alternator seems to keep it from stalling like it was. Thanks again for your help, time, and thoughts. I do appreciate it!

That is all due to the eld. eld stands for electrical load detector, basically it senses that the alt isn't in high demand and turns down the charge voltage to increase gas mileage.
