Tribe Called Bass Posted August 1, 2015 Report Posted August 1, 2015 I'm planning on making a new box for a buddy that has a 10" kicker sub, I'm not worried about the box dimensions. I just want to figure out how I can add in a small window so he can see the parts and throw in some LED"s inside. Possibly cut a square hole and use a round over router bit for it to sit in and use some type of glue? not sure. Thanks.

I personally would do a double layer (MDF or wood of choice) then cut your window in one, then in the second stack, cut a hole for the plexi to fit into, sort of like flush trimming a baffle for a subwoofer, but from the inside, then use silicone or the adhesive of choice to keep it in place. Screws or bolts can be used, just pay attention to how tight they are because you do not want to crack the plexi.
