piccolo
A slot port down the vertical down the middle would that be a good idea?
piccolo
So I was at work today and realized we have this tube that banner material comes in which is 7" wide in diameter and is 53" long. I can cut it with a table saw to the correct length for tunning purposes and I will figure something out for the end flares also. The question I have is does it have to be tunned to the recommended tune 32.2 hz or would it be better to go higher or lower? Also if would it be a good idea to point the ports diagonaly to the front?
_paralyzed_
yes, tune to 32.no, don't point the ports diagonally.
Joe X
A single 7" port is not enough for 4 of those.
piccolo
Ok thanks. I can put multiple 7 inch ports in it honestly and a guy on smd has metal "bell mouths" to for the flares when I looked it up. I really wouldn't mind either slot or aero but I am having a very hard time with the Torres calculator. I cannot figure out how to match up the port lengths to the box lengths. I am not usually this slow I just cannot figure it out for the life of me, can anyone input on the right size port I would need with my box demensions to get 32.2hz or close to it?
