DSalerno
Would running 2 SA 15s on 2k be safe? Probably would run on a hifonics amp.
jcarter1885
Depends on box, how you listen to your music. Some people can make 2 SA woofers last on 2k or better and some people can blow them on 1k. It is all up to the user really, speakers are only told what to do. DSalerno
I would be running them on 1k rms each (probably less if the amp doesn't put out exactly 1k to each sub at 1ohm) but the box I will be using is one from sundownaudio.Com (recommended box for 2 15s) I listen to a lot of rap, edm, country, djsnt, decaf, got160s, and music like that. Moreno93
If box is to spec just make sure you tune the amp correctly & you should have no issues.
MrSevs
How good is your current electrical? Just curious because you may not see a true 2000 watts from that amp. From what I understand is stock electrical can usually supply enough for 2000 watts but it is also my understanding that those amps are very power hungry. You should be okay though... I have my SA15's paired with a SCV-2000D at half an ohm.
leXxMeza93
Box rise is a big factor in how much power power your subs will actually see aswell
CleanSierra
Box rise is a big factor in how much power power your subs will actually see aswell There is no such thing as box rise. There is impedance rise though... Everyone runs those subs on 1K each and they are fine. Because=Sundown. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
