Cole_jacobss Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 I have 6 jbl 12 inch subs and I'm trying to wire all them to a mono block sound magus. They are single voice coil. I'm trying to wire at 2.67 ohm. Can someone help me with this
moredbs Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 looks like .67 ohms is the only option. closest thing to 2ohm, you would need 12 ohm voice coils lol.

You can wire those to 2.66 ohms. Make three pairs of subs wired in series, each pair will 8 ohms. Wire the three pairs in parallel, you got 2.66 ohms. Cole_jacobss Posted August 14, 2015 Author Report Posted August 14, 2015 Thanks I got it now! Big help
Joe X Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 You can even do two groups of 3 subs in parallel (4/3) and wire these two groups in series and get (8/3) = 2.67 ohm final.
