power and or ground to satilite radio making horrible digital noise.. no engine running!

i have a sirius satellite and i notice some bad digital like noise coming the the lighter power supply in truck..so i bought a hardwire kit and ran through the fuse box..same noise still..bought a axxess noise suppressor and made it worse..grounds are good and tight on bare metal ..CANT figure out.

i hook the sirius car dock up to the ac power supply and there is no noise..anyone have any ideas?

sonds like a ground loop

ground everthing from the same spot

and power everything from the same spot

grounds are the same place..only have the one power wire running thro the filter to the hardwire deal..

iv tried lighter power, hardwire power from fuse box and just tried straight from battery...all the same noise..i can unhook the ground and the noise get 10 times as loud..

just cant figure out if its the power or the ground maken the noise..

i took satellite out of car dock ,put head phones on it and plugged into car lighter..no noise...could it be my radio?..i just got a new jenson..didnt have this noise with stock radio running through cd changer adapter ....

forgot to mention that the noise sounds like a 56k modem dialing up..heh

also side note idk it could be the radio but even if its not i would still return it and get used name brand one bc its like night and day diff. i bought a jenson i had to ground the fuck out of it to make fm work lol. its also really unresponsive in the cold

It could very well be the radio.

the dock is all plastic..its a sirius stiletto 2..

just tried my phone..it does the same thing..doesnt do it thro bluetooth.but does when plugged into aux

i do notice the stereo get pretty hot too..just got it from Sonic Electronix .
