I have 2 fully loaded fi q 18" a stock battery up front and 2 yellow tops in back. I'm still deciding on what amp if like to push them I'm leaning towards crescendos bc 3500.1 but I'm looking into sundown's amps and am looking at dc's 3.5k... Was even thinking of getting a 5k amp for power to spare lol ...question is who'll a mechman 270 amp alt suffice for 3.5k+ watts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
reedal Posted August 27, 2015 Report Share Posted August 27, 2015 A 270A will be good for up to 4k for a musical setup in my opinion. But that's 4k total to include mids/highs amp(s). You might be able to get 5k with some dropping into the lower 13's at times.
