mothra
it's b/c you have the wrong harness. the correct harness is like $100. if nothing changes, nothing changes You don't know what you don't know, till you don't know

ewilliams5430
it was like 30$ from a car audio shop by my house, they said the only thing about that kit is that I would lose the chimes. It plugs in fine to the harness i just dont know where to run the red wire to in the fuse box
Lakeshow94
Alot of times that red wire has to be tapped into a ignition source. People sometimes tap into thing like the cigarette lighter. The correct harness typically costs about 60-100 bucks and retains chimes/has a accesory wire built into it. 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.
Lakeshow94
look for pac rp3-gm11 if you don't have bose or pac rp5-gm11 if you do. The rp5 also comes with steering wheel control adapters as well as an antenna adapter 1999 Lexus GS 300 Pioneer DEH-80PRS Singer 240 Amp (Will be installed later) Northstar Group 31 & 24 Sundown SCV-4000 Rockford T400-4 2 12" CT Sound Meso CT Sounds 6.5 Meso Components CT Sounds Tropo 6.
Clownrock95
Most people use a add a circuit and tap into any fuse that turns off with the vehicle for the switched +12 (which in my kit was a loose red wire) and either to the battery or another add a circuit to the fuse box for the constant +12 I used the fuse box method on my trailblazer so I didn't have to spend the 100+ for the integration harness (Prolly not the best way but its the way most people do it)
