Either way there are amps out there that would power it and I'm sure that guy that has $2k plus for a sub has the money for an amp or amps to power it. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
