aculous Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Alright when picking a RCA cable look for: Connector (Belden/Canare are good examples) Wire Size (coax hopefully, supports 75ohm) Other then that it really doesn't matter. (Also there is a reason why SMD cables cost what they do. Just like other high quality RCAs, connectors and wire size matter) here are some specs of a typical wire that I would say is good quality. Belden 8241 RG-59 Coax specs: Number of Coax: 1RG Type: 59/UAWG: 23Stranding: SolidConductor Material: BCCS - Bare Copper Covered SteelInsulation Material: PE - PolyethyleneOuter Shield Material: BC - Bare CopperOuter Jacket Material: PVC - Polyvinyl ChloridePlenum (Y/N): NPlenum Number: BL-88241 and BL-82241Nom.
