beanbo12
I deadend and sealed my doors in my 2001 ford explorer with q mat and plexyglass a couple months ago. I'm running sq 6.5 pros in front and more midbass and sq is desired. I would like to run 8" woofers (not pa style) up front but the only way I can get them in the sealed door is to hack away at the door frame which I would like to avoid. Would it be worth to make sealed pods for the 8"s and attached to the doors and lose time and work on the sealed doors. Or just mount new 6.5 woofers in the sealed doors what would be the better route.
Carnines
Could get a pair of JL ZR650's. Budget option would be silver flute 6.5s. I know morel makes mid bass drivers so look into them.

Carnines
Have heard nothing but good things about silver flutes. Cheap and reliable with a lot of mid bass
ToNasty
I had silver flutes for awhile. I'd go that route ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
beanbo12
Ya i like the flutes. Would the 8's be better in pods against the 6.5s in the sealed doors. I know 6.5s would be the easier route but I don't mind putting work in for good sound.
