why not have him go to the shop and you have him do it there and do a build log type of thing

he getting stuff for free he should at least do something and learn at the same time

should i do the work for him or should i give him a call, hand him a stack of equipment and tell him "see you in 2 weeks"? See what he does with it and revisit? Or should i do the wiring and stuff for him?

if you have the time... give him the stuff and direct him on what to do so he does all the work... with your supervision..... if you give a horse a drink he drinks for a day but if you teach a horse to drink it lives longer and then gets big and people can have a horse BBQ and eat for a month!

Seeing his skills compared to yours i say you should do it.

Maybe bring him into the shop and have him help you work on it so he can learn how the pros do it.

just not looking forward to re-mounting a new box and mounting the battery haha!! Ill probably make him something smaller and lighter on the CNC when i get it.

that is sorta what i was thinking. Teach him. Let him do it but i supply him with everything. First things first. The wire bin. Time for some 8ga at least. haha
