I reconed my ZVX 18 v1.5 with a psi recone, super easy to do and with the psi softparts it's like a different sub, more xmax, more output and hit lower -
I've a question, what if I have a 4th order bandpass, the ported part of the box still uses the 16 sqin per cuft? because if I do the ported part 4 cuft, the port will be very different to a 8 cuft ported part port... any inputs? Thanks!

actually I made a box for a zvx18 for my hyundai azera, but I'm afraid that I'll loose all my trunk just by having that box... so... too much difference between a ported box and a 4th order bandpass??

I can't wait to receive my zvx18v1.5!!! Can someone tell me how big the box must be?? I have a design that's 4.8 cuft tuned to 28hz, with 14 sqin per cuft... and powered by a crescendo symphony 1500.1 (around 1900w rms)

Got a brand new pioneer HU and gain matched my HU, EQ and amp using my new smd dd1!!!!, feels awesome to have max performance without have to worry about melting coils =)

I don't like when car audio shop's sellers have bias towards SQ because all they do is to try to get you into SQ instead of SPL.....

I have a bias towards SQ, i cant afford it and don't know how to do it. I just compensate with spl. Like the 50 year old guy with a vette.

All I have to say is that I love my NVX jad800.4, using 2 channels for the fronts components and the other 2 bridged to power a skar audio vvx15. I got windshield flex, doors flex. roof flex and even hood flex with just 400 watts!! I just want to get a jad1200.1 and see my car fall apart lol.

finally, after correctly matched my gains, I got windshield flex with 1 skar VVX 15 and 400w rms :')... I know it's nothing to a lot of you but for me it's awesome
