She's 21 years old a quite a beauty...especially inside.

The Phoenix Gold M100 is a stereo amplifier rated:

100x2 / 160x2 (12V / 13.8V)

455W 4 Ohms Mono (13.8V)

1001W "Dynamically"

All tests were performed mono and closer to 13.8V, so that's what we are looking to get:

320W at 8 ohms mono

455W at 4 ohms mono

1001W dynamic at 2 ohms mono

So, how did it do? Let's find out...

You and me both bro! I remember drooling over that first PG amp, the MS-250. They showed the guts in a 1989 Car Audio & Electronics, and I lusted for that amp for years! I didn't have any local dealers, but the ones in my state wanted full MSRP for the amp and I seem to recall it was around $500. Way out of my price range at the time!
