Nick4029 Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 I have a zv4 12 rev 2 on a hifonics brx2400 in a 2.75ft3 box tuned to 32hertz. Also have a 160 amp alternator. When I play lower notes anywhere from like 45 hertz and down my voltage is good and doesn't drop below 13.8. My voltage is regularly like 13.9. I'm lucky to get to 14 because of my voltage regulator my car has. But when i play songs with notes that are 45 hertz and up (like the hills by the weekend) my voltage drops anywhere from 13.4-12.2 depending on the song. It's seems the higher the hertz the lower my voltage drops. And the lower the note the higher my voltage is. Can anyone explain to me why this happens Thanks 2011 Chrysler 200s Sundown zv4 12 rev2 2.75ft3 box tuned 32hertz Hifonics brx 2400 Sky High 1/0 ofc power and ground wire Sky High 8 gauge ofc speaker wire Focal auditor 5 1/4 front component speakers Focal integration 6x9 rear deck speakers Stock 160amp alt

Ahmed Johnson Posted November 6, 2015 Report Posted November 6, 2015 Do you have the bass boost up? Those amps have it set at 45hz so turning it up will cause it to pull more power on those higher frequncies
