LoudPackRacing Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 I have an old school X-File Audio class D amp 2 channel amp. It has gauge power and ground inputs and 4 25amp fuses. Has anybody heard of this amp or can give me an estimate of its rms rating?
LoudPackRacing Posted November 11, 2015 Author Report Posted November 11, 2015 It's an XP1500D. I would post pics but don't know how

Massivespl Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 Will do roughly 1000watts with 4 25a fuses most likely c-pillar flat wall 157.11db on music 2 crossfire 8k 4 NSV3 18s 4 crescendo 10s 4 Rockford pro 6.5s Quad excessive amperage 350alts 4 juicebox 3100s
never knows best Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 it's rated at 800w x 1 @ 2ohm from the manufacture. whether it actually puts out that power, who knows-

Vice03 Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 I'd tend to agree with Massivespl. Shoddy manufacturers lie about power ratings! What they don't tend to do is fuse their amplifier for less power than it can draw because well.... that just wouldn't work. So calling it a 1500 and fusing it for 1000 (or 1152 or however you want to do the math) tends to suggest they might not be the most honest company. I'd question it's ability to do rated power.
LoudPackRacing Posted November 15, 2015 Author Report Posted November 15, 2015 Will do roughly 1000watts with 4 25a fuses most likely How can it be 1 ohm stable if its a 2 channel??
