damn that looks good! was always interested in trying a quarter wave enclosures but they look a little above my knowledge level.

-If its loud, fast, outrageous, or all of the above, chances are i'll think its awesome.

very not so. It is quite easy. the opening of the port has to equal surface area of the sub or subs you are putting in the enclosure. Some say measure from the edge of the cone, i say measure from the edge of the surround. EXAMPLE: 2 8s , surface area is 100 sq in, so my port opening is 100 sq in. the length is determined by, some say the FS, from my recent experiments, dont get too far away from the fs and you can still acheive a good sound. EXAMPLE 43HZ , this is wavelength is 315.3 inches long. I found this here

http://www.mcsquared.com/wavelength.htm

divide 315.3 by 4

" quarter the wave "

we get 78.825.

depending on the sub, when the box is tuned to the exact fs, the box can be peaky. so i would say go 88 inches. there you go

port opening 100 sq inches and a port length of 88 inches.

but with a sub that has a fs of say 26hz you would be safe tuning it to the fs.

I'll bet it sounds damn good too. Have you run a sweep to see where it's peaking?

No sweep yet but I did run just individual tones and it really likes lower 40s and upper 30s. But it can also play 30hz @ 134db.
